From the parking area in Glanegg, the challenging and steep mountain hike to Untersberg begins.
In the upper Rositten, the path to the "Toni-Lenz Hut" branches off to the left.
To the right, the path leads towards "Dopplerwand" to the entrance of the Dopplersteig.
The steps, partly carved in stone and wood, are secured with a safety rope.
After the steep section, you reach the Taxhamer Cross. From there, the Untersberg cable car is about 30 minutes away.
For the hike, you should have sturdy mountain boots, be sure-footed and free from vertigo.
Good physical condition is also a basic requirement.
The trail consists of many steps.
The Dopplersteig is not suitable for children.
Very dangerous in wet conditions.
